Based in Colorado, Amber is an illustrator, artist, and designer working to create exciting artwork and promote change through her ambitious and playful designs. Her work has one uniting factor: it is loud. The noise she brings to each piece comes from the pure colors, overflowing details, or subject matter. This vibrancy transfers through each piece even though many different mediums are utilized, such as paint, graphite or digital means. Her inspiration lies in punk aesthetics, alternative cultures, art history and modern vibrancy and graphics. Amber’s work often commands attention but only with the goal to draw people in and get them to stay awhile. The intent is for the audience to have fun with the bonus of sparking their critical thinking.
