Megan McKay
Digital Animation
Born and raised in southern California, Megan started off her college years drifting through gen-ed and earning an associate degree in ASL Interpreting. After moving to Colorado with her family, she saw at least four more years of college looming on the horizon and decided to use it to pursue something she has always had a passion for — art. She jumped into the animation program at CU Denver with enthusiasm and has loved learning everything she can about computer animation and effects. While she considers herself a 3D generalist, most of her focus on her capstone project has been on cameras and layout, animation, lighting, and compositing. A lover of storytelling on the page, on the stage, and on the screen, Megan has found a way to bring her love of art and her love of stories together through computer animation, and she hopes to continue bringing stories to life in the future.
