Luis Hernandez
Digital Design
Born and raised in El Refugio, a small rural town in the center of México, Luis became aware of his interests in emerging technologies and the arts at a young age. When moving to the United States in 2014, he noticed the growing inequalities in access to resources and social mobility for marginalized communities leading him to advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. His passion and curiosity for the arts and innovation brought him to CU Denver, where he developed personally and professionally with his involvement in student-led offices and extracurricular activities.
As an incoming Product Designer, Luis loves being able to give back to the community by solving an endless variety of design problems. Passionate about creating extraordinarily detailed research-based projects, he hopes to apply his design skills to create seamless human-centered user experiences that are accessible and encompass a diversity of disciplines.
