Phillip Quintana is an inspiring artist that has studied Painting and Drawing at the University of Colorado Denver for four years. An artist that is greatly inspired by American comic books, uses this as inspiration for both current future work. His artwork shows a love for mixing and matching both techniques of illustration and traditional painting as well as themes of conflicting ideas that revolve around social issues in today's society. Through his work he compares and contrasts themes of heroism, social justice, and the truth of how heroic figures are portrayed. Though this learns he tells a story that tries to answer the question of how is a hero portrayed in today's modern setting.
